Bennett's Wallabies

We will only sell wallabies to individuals who can demonstrate they have the correct setup and facilities to provide proper care, if potential owners wish to collect joeys, they will have to show via a video call they have the appropriate setup, as listed below.

Care Instructions

  • Habitat:

    • Provide a minimum of 1/3 acre of grassland for 2 wallabies, ideally with a few trees. Larger paddocks, such as 2 to 4 acres, are even better.
    • Erect a minimum 1.6m high fence to secure the enclosure. We use and recommend Hampton Horse & Foal fencing 15/158/7.5.
    • Include a 3-sided shelter, / lean-to or shed / stable for protection from the elements.
  • Diet:

    • Ensure access to grass and hay all year round.
    • We feed micronized flaked pea and maize ad lib, with some owners also providing micronized barley.
    • We provide fresh vegetables daily,  such as carrots, cabbages, lettuces, broccoli, swede, and cauliflower.
    • We also offer leaves and branches, especially from apple and willow trees.
  • Ownership Responsibility:
    • We will only sell our surplus wallabies to individuals who can demonstrate they have the correct setup and facilities to provide proper care.
